LEGO® Brick Man Experience Perth – Part 1

Last weekend I brought Jack and his best friend Eddie to Perth’s LEGO® Brick Man Experience. It was quite an expensive experience, by any standards…over $27 for each of the boys (children are categorised as 3-15 years of age), and over $42 for myself. It was held under a giant circus Big Top of all places, at Elizabeth Quay close to the train station.

The Experience closes this coming Wednesday, so hurry and take your kids, if you don’t want to miss out! Tickets are available online through the usual suspects – I bought ours through Ticketmaster.

Unlike most other exhibitions, where visitors have the freedom to roam around and enter and exit the exhibition venue at will, the LEGO® Brick Man Experience worked on blocks of 90 minutes. I’d booked us for the 11:30 block, which meant we entered the Big Top circus tent at that time and would be ushered out by 13:00.

Anyway, the boys had a grand day, and the exhibits, by Certified LEGO® Professional Ryan McNaught and his team, were excellent, some even mindblowingly so.

There’s a lot to look at, so I’ve split this post into 3. Here’s the first lot, enjoy!

  1. loved the pictures. i played with plastic building blocks as a kid, not legos, but they worked the same. i also loved the movie when it came out. -KIA

    1. There are a couple of brands of similar bricks, compatible with Lego but made of inferior materials. Jack likes to cannibalise them for his creations, as they have some bits that can’t be found in Lego sets.
