30 Days of Gratitude: #11

Apologies, it appears I got too excited writing about the Place that I’m grateful for (Paris), in a previous post, that I’ve confused it with #11: What Holiday are you grateful for. And I appear to have jumped ahead by 1 day as well. Time travel exists! πŸ˜‰

So, if you’re a pedant (which I’m not), #11 in my 30 Days Of Gratitude series should have been written today, and today’s post yesterday.

Ahhh…that Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey thing πŸ˜„.

#11: What holiday are you grateful for?

It’s got to be the time my then-husband Neal (that’s Husband No.1) and I went on a holiday to the West Country of the UK, on the strength of the sale of some of my handmade teddy bears. Yes, I used to make artist teddy bears back in the UK, from 1997-2000, and yes I was actually quite good at it.

Good enough to make Β£300 one weekend, just in time for our driving holiday.

Here’s where we went:

Clovelly (Devon)

Tintern Abbey (Wales)

Boscastle (Cornwall)

Tintagel (Cornwall)

Now, instead of me trying to describe these places and failing to do them justice, how about I share with you photos of them (curated from Pinterest).

CLOVELLY (Devon):

TINTERN ABBEY (Wales):

BOSCASTLE (Cornwall):

TINTAGEL (Cornwall):

So grateful I had the opportunities to visit some of the UK’s most beautiful spots, when I did. There are still so many places I never got to. I certainly hope to go back to the UK again someday soon, and see more of that beautiful country! Universe, make it so!
