Thought I’d be a girly girl today and go all pink.
Just because I can.
This is going to be the year I turn my life around. This year I will reclaim my life, my way. No one will ever dictate to me again how to live, what to do, who to love. I will practise Positivity, Affirmations, Visualization, Gratitude and the Law of Attraction.
Let’s start with my Divorce, which will be heard in Court in 2 weeks’ time. A very good place to start, for all endings are new beginnings. I am Woman, hear me roar.😊

My teenager Jack is starting to be pretty much a typical teenager – sullen, grumpy, sarcastic, contradictory, lazy, rebellious.
First thing in the morning he’s this big grumpy grizzly bear. Later on, as the day passes, he starts to chill and mellow, til by the end of the day he’s back to being his usual squishy teddy bear persona again.
I find myself reminding Jack that Attitude is Everything. How you want your day to pan out depends on how you behave. A negative, belligerent attitude will only bring you stress and grief. If instead you pivot and change your mindset to one of Gratitude and Positivity, then your entire reality will change. Believe in the best in people, and how people behave and react towards you will change too, leading to a better outcome for the entire day.
Adopt a Positive Attitude of Gratitude, and practise it all the time, day in day out, til it becomes a part of you. And then watch how your whole life changes.
I’d like to share some Pinterest curated quotes on Gratitude and on being grateful, with the hope it’ll make your day and your life better.
Just sharing with you some of my Pinterest curated quotes on how the Law of Attraction works. It’s working for me, and there’s no reason why it shouldn’t work for you too. Give it a try!
I was just scrolling through my Pinterest stream, pinning this and that, when suddenly it occurred to me that Pinterest is in actual fact an Oracle of sorts.
Here are some quotes that appeared on my Pinterest stream (or Timeline or Wall, whichever you prefer to call it). And boy I can tell you, these are so very accurate for what I’ve observed about people in the last few days.
Just some quotes I found on Pinterest, dealing with Personal Integrity. I’ve never understood why some people like to play mind games, why some will only go that far for you and then suddenly balk, why some will pretend to have your back when in actual fact they’re stabbing you in the back, why some will make any excuse to bail out on you at the last moment.
I don’t play such games. I have personal Integrity, I’m honest and I tell it like it is. If the Emperor is wearing no clothes, I’ll say it out loud and clear. Perhaps that’s Exactly why some people are afraid of being associated with me.
Well, their loss, not mine.
Like him or hate him, there’s no mistaking Russell Brand‘s distinctive East End voice. And that’s a voice of reason in a world gone mad. Rather refreshing, really.
If you’ve never heard of Russell Brand, go look him up right now. He’ll blow your mind, in a no holds-barred, eye-watering way. That’s just how Russell rolls.
Some can’t take Russell’s brand (see what I did there 😉) of humour or his Life Philosophy. But that’s okay. We will all wake up in our own time, some earlier than others. And if you choose to stay asleep the rest of your life, that’s fine too, and far safer than trying to bring a positive change to this twisted world of ours.
Here are just some Russell Brand quotes, curated from Pinterest. I hope you will learn a thing or two from them, or at least think long and hard about what he’s trying to say.
Dr Wayne W Dyer was one of my favourite Life Philosophers, alongside Eckhart Tolle. August 30th 2016 is the 1st Anniversary of his passing from this world. Many of his followers attest that they can feel his presence with them still, when they go about their day to day activities. I’m about as spiritual as a lamp post, but sometimes when faced with different situations, I swear Wayne Dyer’s words echo in my mind, and guide me towards making the right decisions.
To commemorate Wayne Dyer’s life and works, I’ve curated just some of my own personal favourite quotes of his, from my Pinterest Board in his name. I hope you’ll gain some comfort and encouragement from them:
…when you feel battered, tossed about, out of sorts, helpless, unappreciated, isolated, hopeless… Or, when you feel you’ve had enough and need time out to step back, catch your breath and let go of other people’s petty foibles. One can only keep going for so long without needing a break, right?
Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt. And yet, I still manage to forget the lesson. When will I ever learn? Time to step off the hamster wheel for a bit…
Yesterday I posted about people who drain your will to live, by their constant nitpicking and impossibly high standards. Don’t even try to satisfy these people, they’re only interested in putting you down. Perhaps, at some deep-seated level, they are envious of your abilities, and wish they could have it for themselves. And the only way they know how to get it, is to steal it from you, by putting you down.
I found these quotes on Pinterest while researching my topic. I hope that if you ever find yourselves in the same situation, these words will help you navigate your way out of those muddy waters. Remember, it’s not you, it’s them.
A long time ago I walked away from just the sort of person described. I felt so much better immediately. That’s how I recognised the type when I saw it coming. But some people you just can’t get away from that easily…and although my personal circumstances have improved a hundredfold, I have to put up with this fly in the ointment. For the time being, anyway. Let’s see where the wind blows, and I’ll adjust my sails accordingly. Either this person leaves, or I will, when the time is right. Life’s too short to have to deal with small-minded bullies like that. I want no part in their soap opera.
Yesterday I wrote about why we need Art, especially in this mad new world of ours, where Money is God.
As I did my online research, I discovered many quotes on why we make Art, and why Art is important to us all. So today I thought to myself, why waste a good opportunity to share those quotes here with yourself.
